Brownsburg West Middle School

The 8th grade basketball team played Franklin Central last night to wrap up the first half of the season. The Flashes started early by knocking down 3 triples in the first quarter which allowed them to establish a lead. The remainder of the game the Dogs would keep them in check and that allowed West to get within 4 points late in the 3rd quarter. The lack of finding scoring in the 4th ultimately gave the Flashes the road win 33-21. Joseph Usani had 7 points while Gavin Arnold added 4 and both EJ Johnson and Zack Spina finished with 3. EJ led the team in rebounding with 4. The team has a few weeks off for the Holidays.
