Brownsburg West Middle School

The 8th grade basketball team hosted Westfield last night in Conference action. The Dogs came out with some really good energy and kept it close through the first quarter. The Rocks pulled away a bit in the second quarter due to the lack of scoring for the Dogs. In the second half, the turnovers started mounting allowing Westfield to cruise to a victory. The team was led in scoring by Zach Hoover and Joseph Usani with 8 a piece. Taevin Owens came of the bench to provide a defensive spark that included a charge and a couple of steals that led to layups. Usani had a team high 9 rebounds and Gavin Arnold grabbed 4. The Dogs travel to Lincoln on Thursday.
