Brownsburg West Middle School

Brownsburg West 8th Grade lost to ZWMS 8th Grade Eagles 7-3 on Thursday at Brownsburg West Middle School. ZWMS Eagles opened the scoring at the top of the first thanks to two field choice hits put into play. Brownsburg tied the game up in the bottom of the fourth thanks to two singles, one by Brady Wilburn and another by Lucas Sumner. A single by Anderson gave ZWMS 8th Grade Eagles the lead, 4-3, in the top of the fifth. Sumner led Brownsburg West with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Griffin Pogue, William Walters, Ben Snellenbarger, Brady Wilburn, and Sumner each collected one hit for Brownsburg.
