Brownsburg West Middle School

The BWMS 8th Grade Baseball Team defeated Cascade 13-1 Wednesday night. Grayson Gee collected three hits and 3 RBIs. Brownsburg West won thanks in part to 10 runs in the second inning. Gee singled, scoring one run; Owen Cozza doubled, scoring two runs; Roman Easton drew a walk, scoring one run; Lucas Sumner singled, scoring one run; Briggs Robinson drew a walk, scoring one run; Gee doubled, scoring two runs; and William Walters singled, scoring one run. Brownsburg got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Cozza tripled down the right field line, and Andrew Tucker grounded out, each scoring one run. Tucker earned the win for Brownsburg. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking none. Easton appeared in relief for Brownsburg. Brownsburg tallied 11 hits in the game. Cozza and Gee each drove in three runs for Brownsburg West 8th Grade. Walters and Sumner each collected multiple hits for Brownsburg West.
