Brownsburg West Middle School

The 7th Grade Boys Basketball team took on Tri West on Thursday night in the second round of the Hendricks County Tournament. The Bulldogs were outplayed in the first half, heading into the locker room down 18-9. Halftime adjustments were made, and West was able to cause havoc on defense in the second half, turning the ball over and running out in transition for easy buckets, dominating the second half to a 38-30 victory. The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Aaron Cupp with 17 points, all in the second half. Adam Poisel had 9 points of his own, Carter Spears had 8, and Evan Arnold had 4 points to round out the scoring for the Dogs. The team plays at home on Monday in the semi-finals of the County Tournament against Avon North at 5:30.
