Brownsburg West Middle School

The 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team finished their regular season Thursday night as they went on the road for a conference clash with the Eagles of Zionsville West. Zionsville West had some size that was tough to deal with early, causing the Bulldogs to take a 2 point lead heading into halftime. But the Bulldogs responded defensively in the second half, lead by Aaron Cupp with 19 second half points, en route to a 40-33 victory. All of that was earned on the defensive end, where Cupp and his teammates caused turnover after turnover and got running out in transition. Adam Poisel hit 3 big first half threes on his way to 11 points. The Bulldogs close the regular season and enter the tournament play 10-5. They play Wednesday evening at home vs Avon South in the first round of the NSC conference tournament.
