The 7th grade boys basketball team took on Paul Hadley Middle School Tuesday night at home. The Bulldogs came out flat, letting Paul Hadley turn them over and jump to a quick 13-3 lead. But the Bulldogs showed resiliency, and battled back quickly. They ramped up their defensive intensity in the second half, and were able to hold on for a 42-38 victory. The Bulldogs were led all night by Carter Spears, with a fantastic defensive performance and 8 big points, including the seal free throw with 5 seconds left. The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Aaron Cupp with 13 points, and Evan Arnold had 12 of his own. The Bulldogs close out the regular season on Thursday night at Zionsville West.
