The West Bulldogs hosted the Pioneers of Paul Hadley Middle School last night, and the Dogs came out hungry. West jumped out to a 9–1 lead behind an aggressive offensive start, with Crew Ford scoring two quick baskets in his first start of the season. Kingston Rideout added five points in the opening quarter, while Roman Easton set the tone with several strong assists. After getting into early foul trouble, Logan Downs found his rhythm offensively and took over the game, finishing with a game-high 26 points, nine rebounds, and a key charge late that helped seal the win. The Pioneers made multiple surges to close the gap, but each time the Bulldogs had an answer. One of the biggest differences came on the glass, where West dominated, outrebounding the Pioneers 32–9 and controlling the tempo throughout the night. The final score was 44–36, giving the West Bulldogs their second win in a row. Kingston Rideout finished with nine points and eight rebounds, Crew Ford ended with six points, and Levi Deer pulled down seven rebounds to cap off a strong team effort. The Dogs travel to Zionsville West tomorrow night to close out the regular season before kicking off tournament play next week.
