Brownsburg West Middle School

The Bulldogs hosted the Avon North Orioles Tuesday night in a County/Conference battle. The first half was a tight back-and-forth contest until Brownsburg closed strong, taking a 4-point lead into halftime. Avon North found some offense in the third quarter and grabbed the lead heading into the fourth. But the Bulldogs responded with outstanding team defense, holding the Orioles to no field goals in the final six minutes. Brownsburg reclaimed the lead on a clutch jumper from William Walters, followed by a corner three from Roman Easton off a smooth assist from Logan Downs. Roman Easton led the way with 10 points, while Logan Downs added 9 points and a team-high 8 rebounds. Brady Wilburn chipped in 5 points as the Bulldogs improved to 2–5 on the season with a hard-fought 30–27 victory.
