Brownsburg West Middle School

The 7th grade boys basketball team traveled to Zionsville Middle school for a matchup with the Eagles Tuesday evening. The Bulldogs fought hard through a staunch Eagle defense all night but came up short in the end, losing 33-21. They took the same deficit into halftime before battling back in the 3rd, making it a 6 point game heading into the 4th quarter. But in the end, the boys just could not hit the shots they needed to come all the way back. The Dogs were led in scoring by Aaron Cupp with 12 points in a great all around game breaking the Eagle press and leading his team. Memphis Brown added 6 points of his own in a very strong performance. The Bulldogs are 4-2 at the Thanksgiving break, and they are back in action against rival Avon North on Tuesday December 2nd.
