Brownsburg West Middle School

The 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team hosted the Tri-West Bruins last night in a County matchup. Tri-West jumped out quickly, taking a 10–2 lead, but the Dogs weathered the early run and battled back behind key first-half baskets from Levi Deer (4 pts) and Roman Easton (4 pts). In the second half, the Bruins set the tone early, scoring at will in the third quarter and stretching their lead to 14 heading into the fourth. Tri-West closed things out and handed the Dogs a 44–28 loss, dropping them to 1–4 on the season. Grayson Gee led the Dogs in scoring with 6 points, knocking down two late three-pointers. Logan Downs and Crew Ford each added 4 points. Kingston Rideout brought great energy off the bench and pulled down a team-high 7 rebounds, while Logan Downs stepped in to take a charge.
