Brownsburg West Middle School

The West Bulldogs hosted Avon West last night in a conference matchup. The Dogs came out sharp on the defensive end and generated plenty of good looks, but early shots refused to fall. That cold start kept the Orioles in it, and West took a slim two-point lead into halftime. The second half told a different story. The Bulldogs struggled to get stops as Avon put up 30 after the break and pulled away for a 46–33 win. Logan Downs paced the Dogs with 16 points and 6 rebounds, while Roman Easton added 6 points and delivered a crucial charge in the second half. West will need to reset quickly as they’re back at home tonight to take on Lincoln.
