Bulldogs News · 7GBB moves on to the County Championship!

Last night the 7th grade girls basketball team dominated the second round of county against Avon South by a score of 42-15. The girls came out tough as nails and took the best that Avon had to offer. They preceded to score the most points in the first half all year and did it while getting fouled every play. The Dogs never let up their intensity in the second half and scored only one point shy of their season high. Aubrey Gallagher had another outstanding game, and Alyssa Bush was a press breaking machine. Chloe Scott did a great job playing point guard for the first time all season and Faith Opafola’s hard work in practice paid off with her highest scoring game of the season. Baily Barrow and Anabel Dudgeon played lock-down defense together stifling Avon’s offense. Elle McColloch nailed her first three of the season, and Becca Rodgers did a little bit of everything playing both center and point guard in the same play! Brenna Walters did her thing by playing intense defense and running the show on offense. Laniah Walkine brought the intensity and hard-nose plays. The player of the night though was Sammy Clark who had a triple double with 10 points, 11 blocks, and 12 rebounds! Absolutely fantastic game girls!
